Life is unpredictable and can change in an instant. That is what happened with Ratha Renganathan, a citizen from Johor, who suffered a devastating stroke that left her paralyzed on one side. But that's not the end of it; 6 months later, she had a stroke for the second time, causing her to lose speech and memory. It forced her to face a new reality as everyday tasks became monumentally challenging.
How do you rebuild your life when your body feels like it’s betrayed you?
During struggles of recovery, she relied on her childhood hobby “art”. It started out as some type of therapy, something to exercise her functioning hand, something to keep her mind occupied. But as the days turned into weeks, she discovered something deeper: a passion for art. It allowed her to express her innermost feelings and find peace.

What started as a personal outlet slowly grew into something bigger. Her dedication and effort paid off when she received an International Golden Art Award certificate during an online event. She was able to transform her hobby into a business with her passion and resilience.
Would you have the courage to transform hardship into hope?
Today, her story is an inspiration and tells us that staying resilient in the face of challenges leads to new beginnings. She not only supports herself through art but also encourages others to embrace their passions, no matter the obstacles.
Her inspiring story shows that when life knocks you down, you can rise again to be stronger, braver, and more creative than ever before.
