Andy Teh: Turning Pain Into Power, and Power Into Purpose

Bullied as a child, Andy Teh found refuge in Taekwondo. What began as a way to protect himself slowly became the foundation of his life. He trained tirelessly, pushing past fear and self-doubt, and went on to represent his state and Malaysia in martial arts competitions.

Through martial arts, Andy discovered more than physical strength. He found discipline. He built confidence. He developed inner resilience.

Inspired by how deeply martial arts had transformed him, Andy founded Elitez MMA, a training academy created to empower others to build both physical and mental strength. What started as a single gym has now grown into four branches, with plans to expand into a fifth and sixth branch in 2026. Today, Elitez MMA offers MMA, Muay Thai, Kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and comprehensive fitness programs, shaping a new generation of disciplined, confident individuals.

Andy’s journey did not stop at sports.

He ventured into acting, starring as Pablo in Blood Brothers: Bara Naga and taking on diverse roles in Malaysian films. Along the way, he faced setbacks, including being recast in a Hong Kong film due to language barriers. Instead of seeing it as failure, Andy treated it as another lesson in resilience and growth.

Through martial arts, acting, and leadership, Andy Teh continues to inspire Malaysians to persevere, chase their dreams, and embrace courage, proving that even the hardest beginnings can lead to powerful destinies.
