Anne Rajasaikaran: Leading with Purpose, Transforming Lives

From her roots in a working-class family, Anne Rajasaikaran built her journey on resilience, determination, and a deep commitment to service. She began her professional path as a Public Relations practitioner, where she learned the value of communication, trust, and perseverance—qualities that would later define her leadership.

Her journey soon evolved into something far greater.

Anne stepped into the role of Principal Officer at The Budimas Charitable Foundation, where she expanded the organisation’s impact with clarity and purpose. One of her most significant contributions was the creation of the Budimas Food Charity Fund, a program dedicated to providing free daily breakfasts to underprivileged primary school students.

What began with 350 children has grown into a nationwide initiative supporting more than 6,000 students every school day, ensuring that no child has to learn on an empty stomach.

But her work did not stop there.

Anne also serves as the CEO of Edumaax Education Group, overseeing institutions such as St. John’s International School, Imperium International School Sabah, Cheltenham College Kuala Lumpur, Cheltenham College Lombardy (Italy), and Pusat Tuisyen Kasturi. Through education, she continues to shape future generations with access, structure, and opportunity.

Her leadership extends into healthcare as well, serving as CEO of the Maaedicare Charitable Foundation, where she helps provide affordable cardiac and dialysis treatments to underserved communities—bringing care to those who need it most.

These combined efforts reflect a life dedicated not just to leadership, but to impact.

Her contributions have been recognised with honours such as the Women Icons Malaysia Award 2019 and the title of Mrs Malaysia International Global 2022, acknowledging both her influence and her commitment to community upliftment.

Today, Anne Rajasaikaran continues to touch lives on a remarkable scale—supporting over 10,000 children and 32,000 patients annually. Through every initiative, she proves that leadership is not defined by position, but by purpose.

Her journey is a powerful reminder that when compassion meets action, it creates change that lasts far beyond a lifetime.
