What does it mean to be truly unstoppable? Is it about titles and achievements—or something deeper?
For Datin Malliga Subramaniam, it has always been about purpose.

Through her MBA studies and global HR leadership, she created opportunities for herself and for others. She used her achievements in business to support women and entrepreneurs from different countries.
Now, as the Managing Director of Oxydata Software, she guides the company by focusing on Smart Iot, Data Analytics, RPA, and AI. However, it is her influence on people that truly matters. For more than 27 years, Datin Malliga has helped women founders, built up the startup community, and promoted investments between countries with kindness and humility.
In 2023, she was the chairperson of the India-ASEAN Startup Summit, which gathered over 20 entrepreneurs for a purpose, not for profit. Despite not being paid, she established a way for people to share their dreams from all over the world.
What motivates a leader to keep moving forward and exploring new areas, even after so many years?
For her, being a leader means working together, being flexible, and having a clear vision. Legacy matters more to her than attention from the media. The IASS was more than simply a conference. It showed that women can change the world, discover their talents, and lead beyond any restrictions.
Her mission is clear: to drive startups, support women, and form a thriving community in Southeast Asia and India. Because of this, many others have been encouraged to act, share their thoughts, and write their own stories.
What is preventing you from using your difficulties to bounce back?
Because if there's one thing Datin Malliga Subramaniam has proven to us, it's this:
Being unstoppable is something you decide, not something you are born with.
