Joshua’s journey began long before his platform took shape. At just fifteen, he stepped into the entertainment world with a dream of becoming an actor. He studied the craft through his school years and even made it to the first audition round of Mediacorp’s Star Search. Though he didn’t advance into the Top 12, the experience became a defining chapter—one that sharpened his resolve and taught him that every setback is part of a larger story.
After returning from Singapore, Joshua found himself drawn into the fast-growing world of content creation. He carved a place within the tech media industry, discovering a new way to express himself. Yet he never abandoned his original dream. He continued to pursue acting in local and overseas film and TV drama projects, building both careers in parallel with determination and heart.
The turning point came during Malaysia’s Movement Control Order (MCO). With countless people losing their jobs and venturing into the F&B industry to survive, Joshua saw an opportunity to do something meaningful. He began creating content to promote their businesses—simple videos made with sincerity and purpose. What started as a gesture of kindness quickly gained momentum.
And just like that, Joshuaeats was born.
Over time, Joshuaeats grew beyond food content. The platform evolved into a lifestyle space where Joshua shared experiences, insights, and personal moments that resonated with his audience. What started as a passion project transformed into a mission:
