Kavita’s journey has been anything but ordinary. Known for her grace on stage and her impact off it, she earned her place as a Top 10 finalist in the Pencarian Puteri Malaysia national pageant and later secured a spot in the Top 30 of Miss Universe Malaysia 2025. But her true calling stretches far beyond crowns and titles.
She is the Founder and Advocate of Stand With Refugees (@refugees.my), a platform dedicated to raising awareness about the refugee community in Malaysia. What drives her is simple yet powerful: to bring visibility to a group often overlooked, and to share the stories of resilience, courage, and hope that exist within it.
Kavita believes that change begins with understanding. Through her initiative, she highlights the real lives behind the term “refugee”—children eager to learn, families striving for safety, individuals fighting for dignity. Her mission is to inspire young people, especially the next generation, to step up, speak out, and contribute meaningfully to society.
Pageantry gave her a platform. Advocacy gave her purpose.
Today, Kavita uses both to spark conversations that matter. Her work reflects a strong belief that society grows stronger when every voice is heard and every story is acknowledged.
