From the fast-paced world of media to the heart of community building, Sofea Mastan’s journey is one of rebuilding, resilience, and reinvention. On the outside, life appeared successful and fulfilling. But after the birth of her first child, she quietly faced the reality of postpartum depression—a struggle that forced her to confront the gap between external achievement and inner peace.
That deeply personal experience became a turning point.
Instead of hiding her pain, Sofea chose to create something meaningful from it. She founded Grow and Glow Mama, a safe space where mothers could move beyond curated perfection and speak honestly about mental health, identity, and the often unspoken realities of womanhood.
What began as intimate conversations soon evolved into a growing community rooted in emotional safety, vulnerability, and shared healing. Through her platform, Sofea reminds women that they are not alone—that strength can exist alongside struggle, and that healing does not need to happen in silence.
Her mission has since expanded beyond motherhood and into the corporate world through Grow and Glow Wellness, where she advocates for emotional intelligence, mental well-being, and healthier workplace cultures. Whether through wellness programmes, meaningful conversations, or even sport-driven initiatives like pickleball, her work is grounded in one core belief: people thrive when they feel genuinely seen and supported.
What makes Sofea’s journey powerful is her willingness to heal publicly and lead authentically. She does not present herself as perfect, but as real—and in doing so, she creates space for others to do the same.
Today, Sofea Mastan continues to build communities that uplift, connect, and empower. Her story is a reminder that sometimes the most impactful spaces are created by those brave enough to turn their own healing into hope for others.
